Hey everyone, I'm new to writing on this forum but I've been reading for a few months now off and on. I don't have much knowledge to share but I'm sure I'll be full of questions. I had to buy my vert from my wife (before we were married), because she was dead set on selling it, and I couldn't bear to see it go. Now it's been several years and I think my ka24 is on it's last legs. Quite frankly I'm over whelmed with choices. sr20, rb20, or maybe stick with another ka, I don't know, but I do know that the other rb choices are diffinitely way out of my price range. I also know I'm pretty tired of get smoked by my best friend's 01 stock celica. Any ideas are welcomed. I have seen rb20 and sr20's around for about the same price. Oh almost forgot 1992 is the year, and does anyone know if the injen air intake for the ka will work on either of these engines. If not I'll just put it my 92 coupe.

ha. NOOOOBB...aiite aiite. Just kidding.

He means people that rip you apart for asking silly **** about a topic that you can easily find out for yourself. For example:

1) A newbie asks a question like "Are Sr20's good motors for 240's?"

2) Usually, at least one person will post a response similiar to this: "Dude, use the search button you lazy....etc...go kill yourself...etc.." This act of responding in this manner is called "flaming".

3) If we are lucky, a moderator will lock the thread. Real lucky if he does it before step 2.

Got it? Now, don't ask silly questions.

hey, you got me curious with your comments so I did a search with your username. Just my 2 cents about the dash LCD thing:

I don't think your idea should have warranted such dumbass remarks and I wouldn't even think twice about what those other jackasses think.

Also, just fyi: "I" wouldn't do the same to my dash, but hey...it's cool that you are at least fabricating something. There is another guy on this forum, jonesbplayer who bought a wrecked ***, wack looking 240 from ebay. He got hella flamed for it, but now the 240 is lookin real good. I gave him mad props for that.

Oh and btw: The flaming that went on about your LCD and jones car, was in the 240sx forum. This is VERT forum brotha...we keep it respectful around here.

- ChiMan

PS: that's not to say I aint a loose cannon at times either....like I said...dont ask questions that you can discover easily yourself...that will always get you flamed....whether here...or any other forum. It's like going to work everyday and asking where the damn water cooler is. That's the mentality I have when someone asks something ridiculous...did I spell that right? j/k brotha

wireless is right i got flames hard. But after I got everything on and running. Those same flamers who spent a week ripping me a new one were nowhere to be found when i posted my first new pics. They dared not challenge me when they discovered I actually had fabbing talents. I put it this way as long as you are doing whats right for you and your car be proud of it and the flamers/haters will at least have to respect you.

I got one on my car. I will remove those parts anyway.

If I sell my cylinder, will the top still be sealed? Is there any clamps on the inside like a Miata that keep pressure on the top?Sorry for asking but I´ve never seen a Vert in real life, a buddy in LA bought it for me.
