New to Ca18det Quick Question

Okay i got the car with this cheep manual boost controller that comes from the nipple on the turbo to the controller, then out the other side to the waste gate with two long skinny silicone lines

its set to stock boost any ways so i would like to get it set up the way it should be.

I was told that all i need to do is run a line from the nipple on the turbo straight to the wastegate? is this right?

Yea, I answered this in the post you searched (thanks for searching again btw!) and that is all you need to do to eliminate the controller. But unless they had the hoses hooked up to the boost controller backwards, it's hooked up correctly as well. The skinny hoses don't hurt anything, if anything, they'll make the controller more responsive.
