Sup guys IM new to 240's well a couple months new. I thought I'd give some info about me and my car. Im form maine 17 years old and got mine for $300. Yess 300 for a 240sx. Your probably think its a pile. Well on the contrary. I bought a 1993 dodge dakota ext cab 4x4 with the 318 5.2l magnum. I paid $300 for it. It wouldnt run and all that needed to be done was the relays needed to be rewired. Fixed that in 5 minutes truck started right up. Drove that for a couiple of weeks. Than found this 240 for sale 45 minutes away from where i live asking to trade for a 4x4 pickup ext cab. I ment the guy half way. I took the car for a drive. He took my truck for a drive. He wanted to trade than and there. I got a 240sx in a matter of minutes. I was I drove the car home. Now here i am with it. Only a few things i need to tweek. Like new ecu (just started doing the mystery sohc ecu problem a couple of weeks ago) I have a stage 1 exedy clutch waiting to go in this week coming up. I've put front and rear strut bars along with a lower tie bar. all A/c crap removed. Egr crap all removed. Timing advanced 5 degrees (now at 25 degrees). spare tires and back seat gone. New exhuast (old muffler weld broke). All the riced stickers on the back windows are gone. Push start installed ricer inside white interior is now all gone. Now for the fun stuff. Soon to be done is solid motor mounts welded rearend Bigger tires in the back because as of now the idiot put 205/40/17's Im ognna run 225/45's and 215/45's in the front. Also speed limiter is removed but i got in to a tiny fender bender on the passenger side. $500 later it should be fixed. a underdrive pulley maybe a cam header is next week. And new tires and 1 rim next week. (one has a crack it in. i think i got a sweet deal. Ok heres the car. Oh btw its being dropped 2.5" asap

Sweet deal man. Seems like you got the long end of this stick. I paid 200 for mine but it was a pile. Bad motor and needs floor pans. Good thing i'm a fabricator Good luck getting everything like you want it. Any idea what that color is?

Wow, you practically stole that car, not a huge fan of the hatches. I have to say I am really drawn to that color, not sure if it is a good or bad drawn, but either way look forward to seeing what happens with it in your hands.

Please don't do lowering springs. Do at least some strut and spring combo. Lowering springs on stock shocks is unsafe.
