there are a lot of choices, and more people will chime in. but for me personally I'm going with KYBs and some sort of lowering spring for now since it's a dd.

Look into a bushing kit too, it's about 100-170 bucks, but you get all the bushings you need to get rid of the old ones and make the car feel like it should.

You got the same year vert and paid the same amount as me, is it white?

There is a magazine called project car in the issue that will be on the stands for the next few weeks shows how to install the energy suspension bushings step by step. You need to figure out what you want out of the car there are a ton of options for the 240 suspension.

Some people like the kyb's like posted before. Some prefer coilovers. Tokico makes reasonable priced gas shocks if you just want a nice ride. If you want a lower look you can add on springs. If you want to be able to adjust the ride height and stiffness I would recommend coilovers and aftermarket ruca's so you can lower it and keep everything right. It all just depends on what your looking to spend and what look your going for. If you look into springs alot of them say not for the vert but they work they just lower it better. You can use the search feature and search for suspension topics. You will end up finding that everyone has a different opinion. I suggest figuring out what you want out of your suspension and then going that route. If you get sucked up like the rest of us you will end up spending more on your suspension then your entire car cost

There are a ton of options for suspension.

We actually have a full forum devoted to it. Check out the suspension forum.

You'll have to decide what you want, and what you want to spend on it.

You can go from stock to high end coilovers or even airbags suspension and range in price from cheap to $2k or higher.

Well, google this:

SPC Suspension Kit

and click on the first link that pops-up. Contact that advertiser, I believe it's ~425 shipped for almost all brand new arms.

Get some tie rods, tie rod ends, etc, and your steering is set.

Get new lower control arms front and rear.

Sway bars if you want.

And a shock/strut or coilover setup of your desire.

I am getting my suspension components from SPL Parts.com, however they are NOT cheap, but race-worthy!

You probably want just a basic setup..SPC is good for that.

I just did some suspension work and didn't replace all the bushings because most were fine. The control arms and knuckes, toe and traction arms were fine. The car has 130 or so thousand miles and has spent all it's life in the midwest dealing with shiit winters too. The tension rod, sway bar bushings were the only deteriorated ones. I installed the sub frame inserts too. The car is noticeably stiffer, but not annoyingly. I dd the car and still value comfort. It is also on tein s-tech springs and kyb GR2 struts which is a very nice upgrade over stock that also keeps the comfort I like.

Consider the roads you drive on as well. I wouldn't go nuts buying a bunch of replacement stuff until I take a look first. I assumed all my bushings would be shot and now I am stuck with many extras. Also the need for adjusting camber comes into play even with small drops, so plan for some adjustable RUCAs (rear upper control arms).

Stick around and search here more than ask questions, you will learn TONS and all your questions have been answered anyways.
