Hello all,

Last week we put a new set of winters (GY Ultra-Grip Ice WRT) on my '06 G35x. The shop also put on new Front Rotors & Front Pads and new Rear Pads (no new rear rotors). When I hit 60 mph or so the car starts to vibrate and gets worse trough 80+ mph. The vibration is NOT in the steering wheel. The car itself seems to be vibrating. For example, the passenger seat headrest noticeably vibrates at these speeds.

We've have had snows before (albeit a different brand) and do not think this is a tire "ride comfort" rating issue. I get that a set of winter will not be as smooth as V-rated summers but this doesn't seem right. There is no vibration when braking. The shop "re-balanced" the tires today but same issue persists.

Any other thoughts???

THANKS!
MJ

86,500 ... The car has been driving great at (very) high speeds until last week when we put on the winters. Good suggestion, I just hope it's not the case because of the expense. And I am always amazed how these type things "coincidentally" happen at the same time.

Went to a more reputable tire shop (as opposed to the discount tire chain I purchased the tires from) and they rebalanced the rear wheels. Car rides great now.... thanks!
