I am getting new tires and was told to beef it up I should go with 275/40R 18 on the rear. I am sticking with the 225/45R 18's on the front. Does any one have a favorite tire to go with. I am also replacing the wheels with Enkei Tarmacs.

I guess it would help to know that I drive an 06 Z Touring. I have narrowed it down to Michelin Pilot SportsPirelli PZero Rosso Asimetrico or directionalBridgestone Potenza RE050ABridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position

Any insight, suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

the reo50 is a great tire, not a real budget tire but very stocky for a true street tire

I switched out my summer tires (General Exclaim UHPs) to some Bridgestone 960's to deal with the approach of the crappy weather season. And since I've done that I won't see any snow at all this winter.

You're farther south than I am so you might be able to get away with not running an all season down in GA as long as you don't do any driving at altitude when the temps start to drop. Otherwise I'd recommend something with at least some light snow traction.
