whats the width of the wheels, and is the offset to the point where youd need some stretch?

youre leaving some important information out, if youre trying to get some serious reccomendations.

and also, this thread should be in the wheels and suspension section.

For stock s14 wheels run 205/55/16 all around and at lest V rated. Anything wider would be to wide for the 6.5 in width rim. This will hinder your handling because your side walls will roll over easier plus they would weigh more(i have done it before). There is a lot of tire choices in that size. What are you willing to pay for tires. For your price range I could help you narrow down your choices.

I know 205/55/16 does not seem like a wide tire, but try not to let trends influence you to much. It's better to have good skinny tires apposed to crap wide tires. I know a real car guy when they have good tires. I don't care how nice there wheels are. It bugs the crap out of me when 240 owners buy coilovers, sway bars, wide wheels, etc. and they are wrapped in crap tires. All those suspension mods are just bragging rights and are worthless with crap tires.
