new tires

ok im looking into getting new tires but the thing i was wondering what is the widest tire i can fit on a 7inch wide rim right now im running 195/60r15 i was told i could fit 225 but im not sure just see what you guys think i could fit on my rims thanx

Ive run a 225/45 on a 17x7 with no problems. It was quite balooned and buldged out, but you can definately fit 'em.

Be careful of strut clearance though, the wheels I had wouldnt fit up front with the 225/45, but fit fine with a 205/45.
