I've got an '00 Qx4 with the stock 16 inch rims on them.

The stock tires are 255/65's - I want something to take up a little bit more of the wheel well - has anyone tried 265/75's on their truck?

I was curious as to if the rubbed, and how they looked.

Thanks -

I'm not really answering your question. I have a question myself. I don't know much about tires so I'm wondering what the numbers mean? I know one must be the width of how much coverage is on the road, and the other must be the height from the rim? But which numbers are better? If the bigger the number, the wider and higher the tire? Or is it the opposite?

255/65/R16 are stock on '00 Q's

255 is the width - 65 is height - 16 is the rim size.

You can go to tirerack.com for a better explanation - but that is short and sweet one.
