I have an '08 Coupe 3.5 with Bridgestone Turanza EL400-03 OEM tires that I am at the end of the road with. 12,600 miles and lots of vibration, still, after at least 3 attempts to rotate and balance - I'm ready to swap out for something better. Last winter, these tires were awful in the Maine snow. Any suggestions for all season that will give me a good ride and be decent in snow? I'm leaning toward Michelin Primacy MXV4 or Kumho Solus KH16. Does the speed rating (V?) really matter? Thanks for any advice.

Speed rating doesn't make much of a difference, considering you won't be going 150 mph (or will you...?)

I'm personally a fan of the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus - 500 treadwear rating, AA traction, A Temp - best in class traction and treadwear for the ultra-high performance tire, and you'll get good traction in all weather conditons. Problem is, you have to get them in a non-oem size - 235/50/17 which works perfectly with your wheels and is the same diameter as your OEM tires. They cost the same as Primacy's too...If you have the money to drop on expensive tires like these, they are definatly worth it - another tire I recommend is the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S - just about as good, possibly a few $$ cheaper.

A less expensive tire that works really well is the BF Goodrich G-Force Super sport a/s - much less expensive, but great traction in adverse conditions. Again, you have to use a different tire size...you can't find much in the stock 215/55/17 size...
