My 2008 3.5se Coupe is getting close to needing new tires and I need some advise;

Currently have Bridgestone Turanza EL400 Size P215/55R17 and looking to replace with size P225/45R17, recommendations on this tire size upgrade would be most appreciated. in addition looking for recommendations on manufacture, ie. Goodyear, BF Goodrich, Michelin, Bridgestone, etc.

Forgot to mention, I live in California and Arizona and SNOW is a foreign word to me and is not a concern when purchasing replacements

I have Goodyear Eagle GT. Great tire for rain and some light snow and the compound is rated at 480. It even has a lip protector built in. I love'm.

What's your reasoning for choosing this size? This will throw your speedometer off by 5%: Makes no sense for you to use this size. If you want a lower profile tire, get a larger rim and smaller tire.

Come to think about it, based on a "stock" size of 215/60/16 and by using 225/45/17 you will be 4.5% too fast on the speedo.

Just saying haha... :P

I'm running g-Force T/A KDW | BFGoodrich on 19's and love them much better than the stock Potenzas.

i have falken fk 452's and I love em. If you throw bigger tires on like you are saying, they are going to throw off your odometer and speedometer.
