New Tire Recommendations

I will be getting some new tires soon for my S14 Kouki and need some recommendation on tire sizes. I have the 18x8 +30 G35 coupe rims. I currently have the stock sizes of 225/45f and 245/45r. The front tread are still at about maybe 50% or so, the rears are all shot. I'm still debating if I should keep the fronts and just get some 225/45 for the rears also.

Should I go 225/45 all around or 225/40 all around? I kind of like the way the 225/45/18 looks up front. Would 40 series be too low? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you go the same all around being able to rotate them for even wear makes sense. That is of course if you do or don't plan on any other use for the tires.
