Looks like 35% front 20% rear? Did I guess right?

Anyway lookin good! Did they tint the dot matrix on the back window, and how did it turn out?

My dot matrix in the back ended up having a whitish look... Looks alright, but was wondering if you got the same effect.

I too, have a silver coupe. I also planned to do 35% front, 20% back. How dark is it at night w/ 20% in the back?

I have 35% front and 20% back. As for the front, I think 35% is ideal. The visibility at night is worse, of course, but it's nothing terrible.

As for the 20% in the back... It's a bit hard to see at night. I have a hard time reversing sometimes, because the back window is so dark. I don't know how people can do 5% all around and still see anything!

thanks, did you have problem with the dotmatrix? I plan to just add them to cut it off below the dot matrix. Is that doable?

The dot matrix looked like absolute crap for the first few days. It was blotchy and awful looking, and I was considering having the shop cut the tint off before the matrix.

In about three days it settled down though. It looks good now, just a bit whitish looking.

To avoid the hassle, I would just have them leave the dot matrix as is. A guy here had that done on his car.... But I forgot who it was.

I will upload a pic of the matrix when I get a chance... I'm at work right now. Being very productive, clearly.

Here's a pic of my dot matrix. It looks alright; at least its uniform throughout.

Yes they did tint the dot matrix on mine.It doesn`t look bad though. The windows are 35% in the front not stock.

kind of a cheap fine of you get caught anyways.. was $150 last I heard.. but illegal nonetheless, would imagine the RC's have better things to do up there though.. like chase old Weibo Ludwig around.. :-)

I have 28% metallic quantum tint all around. Good thing about quantum tint is that, unlike normal charcoal tint, the metallic tint allows for MUCH better night visibility. At night, visibility is about the same as during the day. Even with 17% quantum, visibility at night is better than 35% charcoal!

In regards to the dot matrix, I had the shop put a strip of black vinyl up there. It looks much better than tint on the dot matrix! And although you can't see through it, when viewed through the rear view mirror, the line of visibility is just at the bottom of the dot matrix, so it doesn't disrupt your visibility at all!

Do you have some images of your tint and most importantly the dot matrix in the back? Interested to see how it looks.
