Love it! I can't believe how dark it looks compared to mine. A person would get pulled over the moment a cop spotted the car with tint that dark around here. They don't tolerate any kind of tint on the front 2 windows. I've been lucky so far . Your car is really coming together well.

the police around here have bigger fish to fry. I have never heard of someone being pulled over for tint here... When I move to montgomery in a few months I may have some problems but I'll just try to keep my fronts rolled down some.

You 94+ guys make me sick! I love the 90' over any other year, especially the interior but hate that I can't easily upgrade the lights/front end.

I really like the look of your G50. The headlights really modernize the car Time for some upgraded wheels and lowering springs now.

Did you tint the front windshield? I know a lot of people here in the Wash DC area are doing that, but have heard stories of cops making people peel their tint off right there on the side of the road You guys are lucky police in this area really have nothing better to do and harass people for tint all the time, I think 40% is now the legal limit Nice looking puddle lights, what kit did you use? I was going to install mine but realized without a body kit you would be able to see them from the side

no the front is factory but since I have black interior it looks tinted. I can imagine the need for police to be able to see in the car is more important in such an area as DC than it is in old money Tennessee lol.

I found those on clearance for $5 at Advance Auto Parts! APC brand I think I need to do something about the rings but I'm hoping that will clean up once the car is lowered...

and yea you can see them from the sides but I dont really care since they are only on when the door is open. Maybe once the kit is on I will turn them on for driving too.

Same in NJ.

Basically, anything that makes your car look really hot, is illegal.

My friend rewired his tail lights in his Maxima and made the turn signals the brake lights and the red lights the turn signals and the cops made him change it.

My dad doesn't want me to tint my front windows, but I refuse to have a half tinted Q.

I don't care if I get pulled over, I don't carry any contraband and I don't allow anyone other than my family and my roommates in my car anyway.

But once I get these tints, I can kiss the free state inspection goodbye. I'll have to pay 70 for the private inspection.

Tint looks great! You're quite daring at 15% though. I did 35% on my frontwindows and 20% in the back. 35% is the darkest the front can be legally in Florida. I used Formula 1 tint, lifetime warranty anywhere in the country, scratch resistant, fade resistant and no turning purple. $235.00 and worth every penny.Vandi.

About how long does it take for the tints to be installed? Is it an all day project?

yea I had 35% in the front to comply with the law but it looked like **** so he ripped it off and put 15 all around. Mine is Llumar film and has the same deal.

Honestly the best tint that I have seen is by Johnson Film, I think that's the name. Their tint has a nice reflection to it. I just talked to a buddy of mine and am considering doing like 50% tint on my front windshield just to knock of some of the glare when the sun is in front of you or sun setting. And before people start their complaining a lot of the S500 that have that purplish tint are factory 50% tinted

-those shoes are sicktastic! i'm def feelin those!

-i tinted my front windshield w/40% (illegal), front/rears w/35% (legal), rear window w/20% (illegal). makes car just dark enuf, but if i get pulled over, i'll pull the "u can test it, its only 35%" routine. so far so good w/cops... (will post pics later)

-i saw a thread sumwhere (dunno if it was NICO) where the member drilled holes & mounted the puddle lights above the rocker panels & let LEDS shine thru the holes, thus makin them virtually invisible from the side. seemed 2 wk well. is that what u did?

yall all some lucky fookers.... :D I can see me right now... getting pulled over and going to jail. I'm already riding clean, then on top of it, dark tint.. im a dead man. The legal tint in Texas is 20%. Any darker, and its ticket time. And i think its 140$ . I dont know tho, everyone says my car without tint brings out the luxery, and shows ppl my peanut butter inside... Like lil wayne says, "My Leather So Soft"

My leather gets too hot in the summer, burns my girl's legs.

My steering wheel and shifter are burning my flesh. Once i had to drive around the block and i couldn't even hold the wheel. Plus, once I get my screen in the console, i don't want the wrong type of people taking an interest in my interior, you know?

I want to go 5% max in the back and 15% in the front.
