Firebird Raceway100* plus tempsstreet tires11 psi

rt 1.097 < I chill at the line.60' 2.183330 5.9401/8 9.057mph 78.701000 11.7461/4 14.023mph 100.91

getting hold of that 13 sec pass I'm looking for is starting to become harder than I thought. I have some new drag tires on the way. that will help. plus I'm starting to wonder what the 100* temps is doing to my times.

I have the video of this run, plus one where I'm beating a farrari. If anyone can host them I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey great run man. Was that on the 17's or 18's in the pic. Hey were you racing off of a pro tree, b/c that might be the reason that you ran only 14's. I'm willing to bet that when you get the drag radials that will put you into the high 13's.

that was on 17 street tires. I'll have 17' drags tomorrow. I will be in the 13's next week.

thanks. I only run 11 @ the track. at least til I build my old engine. this motor only has 20000 on it, so it should hold for a while. I figue I'll get all my tuning figured out on this motor, then I'll build my old engine. gimmi a year. I'm gonna wait for the plug and play aem ems for the 240.

btw checker, my 97.5 shares the same electronics as your car. I simply plugged a 96 jwt ecu in, and it works. there are 2 codes I'm currently trying to work out. knock and iat.

see how I share beneficial info w/ people so we can get more hot altys out there? unlike you, who didnt want to tell people about your throttle body because " The 65mm TB...I don’t feel like sharing…because then every mofo will have one."

do you have any pics? I'm sure you would........I even took pics when I swapped my 60mm tb. you must have taken pictures of such a dope mod????? right? pics please.

ultimatucYou are going to make me drive to the track so i can get my times down on a slip. 2 hour drive oh well no biggie umm let's see I putting down 220hp to the ground with no traction problems (18 X 8.5 wheels) what so ever I hope I can get a 13.9 or a really low 14.

That's a very good video. Gotta love the white 1st gen, thats what mine was as well. That commentator seemed to like the alty as well. Keep up posted if u get into the 13s. Btw, is Ryan D.'s time of 13.1 still the fastest 1st gen time out so far or has chad (cthunder) got his car running and beat that time?

^ thanks guys

cthunders car isnt running to my knowledge.

fred claims 12's but doesnt have a slip. I dont think he would lie.

and yeah, ryan holds the fastest ka altima slip to date.

and my 13s may be right around the corner. I just installed jwt cams and got my timing set the best its ever been. new drag tires........... I may head out tomorrow and see what happens.

btw. I dyno'd last week w/ ignition problems and had 225whp and 243ftlbs. I'll dyno again here in the next week or 2. Looking for 15hp out of the cams. we'll see

Yeah it is... Ultimatuc, I remember fred talking about running a 12.8. I also dont think he'd lie, just must have lost the slip or something I suppose. You oughta get that thing runnin primo, so you can take down ryan's "record".

The WRX runs out of steam at the top of 3rd gear. I get a great launch and decent times, but the 1/4 mi times suffer. I think that ultimatuc is doing a ok with his times.

hey ultimatuc (brian right?), let's run somewhere tomorrow evening (08/05), just for fun or some beer whichever works for you.

i had a 94 and a 2002 altima, both built pretty good, never turboed however.

best I ran in my 2k2 altima was a 14.5 (automatic transmission) at firebird

best in my current G35 is a 14.0 at 100

I think it would be fun.

If not I should be at the strip sometime this next month or so.

I am looking for 13's but on street tires. I got Goodyear F1's now so I should do a little better than my 2.2 60'. I am nearly stock (minor exhaust piping changes/suspension upgrades)
