new thermostat question... help

there is the idea....

im an owner of a 240sx ka24e and i want to cold a little my engine....

if i put a 149 f thermostat , will be the engine a little cold??? some mechanics told me that a 149 f do that my car goes more hot than usual.... what is the truth? what is the oem temp for my thermostat ?? and what i do to do my engine a little cold'? ....

just get oem thermostat then flush & clean out your radiator that will maintain the right operatting temp for your motor.its a stock ka24de motor anyway,just dont worry about it!

I agree with doriftomania, just clean and flush. you can always go with the Nismo thermostat, it keeps it somewhat cooler, but it is a waste of money on stock motor. Too cold will effect driveability as the car will not get to operation temp.
