The 15,000 civilians we've killed in iraq weren't responsible for acts of terrorism, yet they were killed... they weren't messing with us...I30T wrote:It's interesting how he's making points throughout the tape, but as he says that "any state that does not mess with our security has naturally guaranteed its own security", he fails to consider the fact that the people that he was responsible for their deaths were not messing with his security.
Its the cost of war, people die and thats just how it is. They attack us, we attack them, and so it goes.pills wrote:

You feel really bad about the 3,000 that died in 9/11, but you could care less about 15,000 people killed in our "mission to free them"... gotchaNathan wrote:Its the cost of war, people die and thats just how it is. They attack us, we attack them, and so it goes.
i have it on good confidence from a friend in the intelligence community that in a war on our soil(conventional) we could pretty much take the whole world no prob.Mr1der wrote:we're lucky to not have a modern war fought on our land. Granted, the opposition would have a much harder time with us, but civilian casualties will be very high, a good bit would probably be attributed to the civilians taking up arms and fighting alongside our servicemen. Could be why we haven't ever been invaded.
Let's hope we don't have to find out.s13sr20chris wrote:i have it on good confidence from a friend in the intelligence community that in a war on our soil(conventional) we could pretty much take the whole world no prob.
I would be willing to authorize damn near any action on foreign soil if it kept the fight from spilling onto my doorstep. If 20,000 Iraqi civilians, or whatever have to die so I can walk down the street and not worry, then so be it. The absolute last thing I want is to be walking down the street with my girlfriend, wife, kids, parents, whatever...and have some whack job carry out a terrorlst attack in their presence. I dont care what lengths we have to go to to keep that from happening. If we have to carpet bomb a whole goddamn Country then thats just how it is.pills wrote:
