Sweet! IMO the OEM taillight housings should have been matte black and not chrome. Damn Altezza craze.

Do these overlays require a seam(s) to be cut in order for them to fit right? I'd like to get a set for my gf's car, but I don't know if I'm THAT DIY with vinyl.

For a more permanent and durable installation, would you recommend a clearcoat over the top of the vinyl? I'm mostly concerned with the thin piece(s) between the reverse and brake lights. Or is that not going to stick to vinyl?

No need to clearcoat it .

lol. I forgot where I got that, but yea... nice little .gif... It's so true. The overlay looks like a nice remedy for a little too much Altezza.

I think the overlays make the lights look LESS altezza-ese. I bet they would look best on a white or black car.

Wheels are to each his own and depend on what kind of style you are trying to achieve with the car. Obviously chrome wheels are not suited for a performance-oriented ride, nor would 15" forged magnesium wheels pass for the VIP look. Ok maybe they would if they really were forged Mg.
