Hi I'm new hear I've looked through this forum many times and finally decided to join. I have an 88 hardbody base 4speed with ac, no power steering, I am the 7th owner and the last. Its been abused and i let it sit for almost a year so when i started driving it ive been finding and fixing things that were ignored. When i got it someone had lowered it as far as it could go with out bags and it appears that someone put some kind of ka pistons because they have valve reliefs, egr and cat delete some idiot welded a toyota truck muffler with different size pipes. the wheels are from another truck and it has an unknown lsd in it. I have put 02 extarra seats, a tach and new speakers in. it was painted some time and it wasnt a perfect job. I built a custom tuneable muffler for it. I dont know how to put pics up i will if yall tell me.
Plans for it are brembo or wilwood discs and calipers all way round
4 point harness and full cage
i might lower it a bit like an inch i dont like them lowered like it was most of the time i dont like it at all but an inch might look good or a long travel baja kit and make a 2 wheel drive prerunner idk
custom stainless intake and exhaust i think ill build the 2.4 till it gets to where it would be cheaper to put in a 5.3 ls and 6 speed

Yeah has anyone done a big brake upgrade on these trucks before
I looked around for info on the 240sx trans swap, i love the 4 speed but I'm going to new mexico next semester for college and thats a long drive with the four speed so if any one could point me in a direction that covers all the technical bits like how long the new diveshaft needs to be that would be great.
