Just finished the SR swap. Spent over a year rebuilding the engine and of course, now I have a problem. Filled up all the fluids, plugged in all the connections and check the grounds. unplugged the CAS and cranked for a while to lube it up and while it cranks it has a distinct hissing sound, which I think might be the valve not sealing properly. Maybe due to the timing chain being off by a link or two. I dont know whats going on, but what I do know is that I shouldn't be cranking it after hearing these noises. There are links to the videos below. Someone help!

compression was 131, 126, 125, 126. does that rule out a timing issue?

also, I got it started momentarily today. It ran, but there was a terrible mechanical sound that went along with it. I still think that the starter might not be disengaging, but I dont understand why it would be doing that. I let it idle for about 10 seconds and then shut it down and now it wont catch at all. When i did the compression test I thought there might have been some gas on the spark plug from cylinder #4. But it held compression fine. Definitely not stoked on this conundrum.

here's a link to the newest video. This one really makes me think the solenoid isn't retracting. Only worrysome thing is that there was smoke coming out the tailpipe. I'm hoping that is from the 750cc injectors and the stock ECU running it super rich right now. Anyone? somebody has to know something.
