Thats so good to hear.

Over the years I have had chances to sell all sorts of BS that I could purchase for next to nothing, and sell at a huge mark up.

But it was all poorly manufactured, not innovated, and performance results were almost non existent (some of the braces on the market for other positions in this chassis end up doing nothing).

I have always tried to hold myself to a higher (moral) standard in only selling things that work, work well, and are well worth their price. I never would have released these if I didn't KNOW they did allot.

With that being said, I guess I can never hear enough good words about them working well. There is a small part of me that always worries things are not perfect or their absolute best. So thank you EVERYONE for all the good words. I really hope that I have delivered on the companies mission statement from 2001: "Design Dictated By Function"

Ok, I finally got some high quality pictures of the new black brace. My point and shoot just cant do the justice a DSLR can.

Check them out!

Have braces instock, delivers in 2-3 days.

Possibly considering your diff is connected to your sub frame. If this doesn't then maybe get new differential mounts? No idea, just thought I would share.

S13 Has no Diff bushings.

There are reviews in this thread about people using a welded diff with the RPSport Subframe Support Braces, and their impression was really positive.

I have a welded diff and my car handles extremely well. Noticeable increase in traction with these from straight line launching, and there is no wheel hop when I'm drifting/doing burnouts either.

S14 have "Y" shaped braces. So unless you plan on machining them out of a steel block I wouldn't bother cuz 2 flat "aerospace quality" MILD steel bars welded together won't do anything better.

...Welding is very strong... You can weld things together and then grind and buff them until it looks like 1 piece. You would not know the difference between 1 piece or 2 welded together...How do you think they make the "aircraft" made from the "MILD steel"? They don't CNC the whole craft out of 1 giant piece of steel...

John is making the product function how it should have in the first place. The OEM just made them too thin.

Keep at it John! i will need a set for my hatch very soon!

First off I'm not knocking his product, it's just that the S14 brace is a bit more complicated than a flat piece of steel, the main nut for the subframe is recessed in to the brace.

Second I was just poking fun at the description of the item, more or less this phrase. ''highest quality aerospace grade alloy." There is no aerospace grade MILD STEEL. Also alloy denotes more than one type of metal mixed together to make it have better tensile strength or less brittle under heat.

How do I think they make aircraft? Well for 10 years I have worked on FA-18A/D Hornets and now Huey/Cobra attack helicopters I can tell you there is VERY little welds holding an aircraft together nor are their any MILD STEEL components. It's mostly aircraft grade 6061-T6 or 2024-T3 aluminum with titanium and inconel thrown in the mix and it's all riveted together.

You Fail.

Thanks for jacking my thread and making yourself just look like a d!ck.

My braces are made out of 6061 T6, U.S. Sourced and certified aluminum. I don't know why you would lie, and say they are made out out of "mild steel"

I really don't know who you are to just out right attack my product, or things I am working on. I have about $4000 vested into the S14 brace now. That includes prototypes, some data loggers I bought, and various shock and vibration sensors to record data off of the new equipment.

Thanks for explaining how complicated things might be, I will keep it in mind.

Witin the next week I am hoping. This run was done out of state. I was hoping that after a few done hands on, we could trust a lower cost out of state facility, but Quality control has been an issue because I cannot be "right there" to monitor it. So, its taken longer having samples sent back and forth at each progress step.

I will post up new pics when they are in, and notify everyone that has been waiting.

I'm no expert in welding, although from what i understand, the welds in steel products are just as strong as the parent material you used. So for MILD Steel, it would be a great way to make a connection. Now Alloys make a huge difference.

Being you admitted there are welds on the aircraft. I'm not sure how i fail? and it doesn't matter. Lets just leave it at that.

Hey everybody. I'm just curious if anyone who has had these braces on order received them recently. I've had mine on order since October 23rd and that was close to the time John was having email issues. I still haven't received the braces. I've emailed him twice and he hasn't even emailed me back just to let me know the status on them. So, I've kept an eye on this thread and his website but now today it says the website is unavailable. I'm just curious to see if anyone knows what is going on.

Thanks in advance.
