Where exactly and when?midnightouge wrote:Yo, you're from concord?Do i know you? not sure, we have 240 meets there all the time. come though.
In the last picture you can see the brackets on the sides. I put one L bracket on the side closest to the tail lights (very tight fit), then on the opposite side I used 2 L brackets, one the same size as the small one and as you cna see in the picture a much larger one. Then on top of all that, or the bottom I guess I sohuld say, I put 3 strips of velcro glued to the carpet just for a tad extra support. It wont go anywhere.AAV240sx wrote:What are you using to keep it from moving around?
So I have been told. Sounds good to me though.Dattebayo wrote:Looks great, but from a best-sound point of view, the speaker is pointing the wrong way.
Basically from what I understand is MDF uses soft wood ground into more fine grains, while particle board has slightly larger "chips"wikipedia.com wrote:Particle board, or particleboard, (called "chipboard" in some countries) is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood particles, such as wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even saw dust, and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded. Particleboard is a type of fiberboard, a composite material, but it is made up of larger pieces of wood than medium-density fibreboard and hardboard.
Medium-density fiberboard (MDF or MDFB) is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down softwood into wood fibers, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure.[1] It is a building material similar in application to plywood but made up of separated fibers, not wood veneers. It is denser than normal particle board.
Lol, yea my uncle actually gave it to my brother. My brother had it as just extra power for his system that cost about $3000 (waste of money in my opinion). Then when he sold the car with all the stuff removed I took it to use for myself.slow s13 wrote:nice old school mtx amp I have 3 from that era and they havent missed a beat

Nothing on the other side. But I will be relocating the battery there so I can run intercooler piping.Looneybomber wrote:Looks good. What's on the other side of the trunk? Was it possible to put it there to help balance out the weight (opposit side of where the driver sits)
