Ok, I have always had this strange popping sound from my front right wheel. It just kinda *clunks* fairly loud and disturbingly when in high stress situations, like a very fast, tight circle at edge of traction. I always figured it was a tie rod. Due to other reasons, I recently replaced a majority of the front multilink; control arms, tie rods, and tension rods. But the problem persists. I am wondering if there are any other likely culprits. Thanks, you guys rock!

yeah i get that too. IM suspecting its just the pillow ball on the tension rods changing direction.

Ya, the new control arm came with bushings. Mine did it before I had the pillowball installed, but maybe it is a different clunk now. All I know was that I did a very hard turn the other day, like basically sliding at 30 mph, and it sounded very harsh when it clunked. I knew what it was, but it still sounded like something major broke. I have been thinking though, would it be possible for the spring or dampener to do something like that?

really? mine only does is when im making a slow turn...what kind of suspension do you have? I think that it is possible for the spring to do it but to me it seems like something else would make it do that. Also, is that bolt on the top of your suspension tight enough?
