I installed Tokico blues, dust covers, seat springs, and bushings this week. Also a '95 TCU. Unbelievable difference. Two of the old struts were providing no dampening what so ever.

Having the first gear start is great. 1st > 2nd shift is sometimes a little abrupt at moderate throttle, but certainly tolerable compared to the overall benefits.

I can tell a difference also in my shifts with a 95 versus a 93 TCU. I much prefer the 93 TCU, but as you said the benefits out weigh the difference.
