Ok, Ive narrowed my options down to two different choices. Im looking at the Tokico Illumina and the KYB AGX. If any of you are running either of these could you let me know what the ride is like?

They're very close, I prefer kyb -- but remember if you drop it more than 1.5" (which you should never need on a z) your kyb warranty is no good.

That being said, the tokico's have had some reliability issues in the past, and the kyb's can usually be had for cheaper.

Most people that debate between the two usually end up going the kyb route -- what do you have for springs?

the kyb agx's are decent, anything less from kyb is junk, the tokiko's are very nice as well, but they tend to cost a little more, which is why the kyb's are so popular, you can't go wrong with either both are a good product

I've never had a problem with tokiko's

I have never heard of any problems with either, they are both good shocks. I am personally going with KYB's once I have the money for shocks/springs/camber arms.

I'll be running either eibach, RSR, or Suspension Tech. Springs. All of these are .8" drop, but the ST set has .6 rear drop. I will also be running ST swaybars.

KYB AGX's + Eibach springs makes a great combination for suspension on a budget.
