 Ok well i need new struts all the way around on my car so I was told to try Infinitipartsusa.com and it was over $500 for all the parts and shipping. Well this causes a problem because I need to replace my timing belt its getting kinda old. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that make struts to fit a J30T that are stiffer for better handeling and a little cheeper. I guess I can look on EBay for OEM struts but I would rather get something that could hold me to highway turns at 115mph........... Thanks Chris

No one makes struts for the J30. The J30t has stiffer springs than the base model optimized for (I read this here) 64 mph. New OEM struts will hold you just fine.

Diamond, a member with a heavily modded J30, might be able to give you ideas for stiffer suspension set ups. He got some struts modified for his J.

best option for you would be oem struts with aftermarket front and rear sway bars.fun is going around 25 mph turns at 70.konis would fit front if lowered at least 1.5"

I had the guys at infinitipartsusa look and togicko does not make anything that fits the spec's on the j's. Konis makes the sway bars or the shocks. I think im just going to with the oem strut mounts b/c I think that is what is making the clunk noise when I go over speed bumps and just oem shocks in the back. What does it take to lower my car? I have wanted to see how that would look. Can I lower it all the way around with different suspension than the oem stuff?

J30 guys:Does teh J have a multi-link suspension like the Q?

If so cwb likely needs upper links to get rid of his noise ( fits upper links symptoms perfectly)

J30 has MacPearson struts up front and a multilink rear [similiar but different because of the narrower track width than Q].

$500 [for new struts.shocks every 4-5 years] is such a small part of the 10 cents per mile the J costs for mainteance and repairs.
