Finally got around to doing the next upgrade on the coupe, the brakes. Well, the second upgrade as I had already replaced the pads.

First, had to get the car in the air. Damn, that rear tire looks pretty big :chuckle:

SS lines were installed first and bled. Replaced all the old brake fluid with ATE Super Blue Racing.

Rotors are StopTech slotted as seen via the rear rotor below. I had ordered a new set of Hawk pads but the Pmu pads in front and rear Hawk pads looked mint so I left them.

Here's the front all complete

Thanks goes to Tunerzstore for the parts and maxhopper for the install help. Was actually quite painless. I'll do a writeup on installation.

Looking good. Should have cleaned the wheel well out while you had the tire out :)

I'll deal with that when I do my spring cleaning ;)

Not necessarily with daily driving. The factory rotors with the Pmu pads stopped it quite well. The upgrades are mainly for whenever I can finally get it on the track as they will dissipate heat better and the brake fluid has a higher temp so they won't boil like the factory.
