My 01 I30 has weak rear coil springs. With poeple in the back seat the shocks bottom out. There was a service bulletin about changing the rear springs if this was a problem. I checked in the search box but no answers. You think new rear struts will correct the problem. The car has 91K miles. I did place rubber spacers between the coil to help it a little.

At 90k you are a good bit past the time to replace the struts. New ones should fix you right up.
