New Stereo with Steering Wheel Controls (2002 Pathfinder)

Hello can someone help with these questions please?

I have installed a Kenwood KDC-X796 with a Metra Access ASWC-1 for steering wheel control. My problem is that the UP/Down arrows on the steering wheel (short press or long press) only work as scan up or down.

Does anyone have an aftermarket stereo that works with presets?

Does anyone have the ASWC or ASWC-1 that works with presets?

Can someone help with the colors of the wires for the ASWC? Everything works BUT presets.

I think that is more of a head unit setting issue. When you use the forward/back button on the aftermarket head unit, does it behave exactly the same way as it does with the steering wheel?

I dont think i have the same model number but in my kenwood, I go to my head unit settings -> scan/scroll -> choose manual or auto 1 or auto 2. The manual goes over the frequencies one by one, one of the auto modes scans for existing sstations, and the other auto mode goes over presets.
