New stereo (subs/amp)

Finally got around to putting a system in the Q, nothing to get excited about but it does the job!



Subwoofers - Hifonics HFi12D4 (Dual Voice Coil 4-ohm) 300W RMS per sub

Amplifier - MA Audio M700XE
2 x 250W RMS @ 4-Ohm Stereo
2 x 500W RMS @ 2-Ohm Stereo
1 x 1000W MAX @ 4-Ohm Bridged

I have them wired to do a 2-Ohm load on each channel. The subs were $65 shipped, the amp was $100 shipped, all brand new. Had cables and got the box on Craigslist for $25. So for $190 I am pleased!

Long story short the lady I bought the car from let her kids SPRAYPAINT it for graduation, they SPRAYPAINTED the whole car in blue/yellow. After graduation they used GASOLINE to get the paint off, or atleast tried to....

i saw the car and i almost cried..... have you tried waxing it? theres a possibility it can get SOME of it out.... and at least clean it up a little bit....

edit:: when i say clean, it can get some of the damage the gasoline left behind out of it... the hazing and oxidization and such...

Congrats on the new audio gear but WTF dude? Who in their right mind would ever let their kids spray paint their car? That's he dumbest thing I've heard in a while. I doubt it'll ever be the same unless you get it repainted.
