Finally replaced the stock leather one - the leather was starting to rub off in some spots and it was really uncomfortable to hold So i replaced the wheel with a wood grain one, but still retained the stock airbag tell me what you think! It matches all the other fake wood doesn't it?

holy hell, that is cool!! is it an OEM Nissan part? I considered keeping the wheel from my 240sx and putting it in the QX, it's the same as the Terrano Regulus wheel (I had a jdm wheel).

I really dig that actually. .

Yeah, my cousin in Poland runs an auto salvage yard, he called me to say that he had a rolled Nissan Terrano and if I wanted anything from it.... The wheel looked like it would fit and sure enough, it did.

Ok, next stupid question: How did you change it?Does the whole assembly come off, and how do you work around the airbag system?Curious. One other question. I noticed your address changed. B C would normally be British Columbia. Are you a fellow Canuck now?Go Sens Go.

its easy, the steering wheel is basically 2 parts, the airbag and the wheel itself, i just replaced the wheel

No, I have a felony in Canada, I am banned from visiting your fine country for only 4 and a half more years. The located I have listed is my favorite relaxation/offroad spot of San Felipe, Baja California Norte.

Here's a pic of it on our private land - there is a beautiful lake just behind those trees The Patrol doesn't look so hot, but driving it is a whole different experience. Turbo diesel Nissan 4x4, the thing is unstoppable, and way too much fun to drive.

Kind of like a rinky-dink looking old school FJ cruiser. What kind of numbers does the turbo diesel put out? I'm right behind koukis on that, what I wouldn't do for a turbo diesel to put in my rig...

My old neighbor from Idaho who taught me how to rebuild engines from the ground up once told me about a buddy of his who took a caterpillar diesel out of semi and twin turboed it and put it in a early 80's ford bronco. Said it could smoke all four tires at once when in 4wd...

Damn I hate CARB sometimes.
