New Stainless LS1 -> S14 Mounts...

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

About time to get this turd back on the road...got tired of the old mounts and decided to step it up a bit with 1/4" Stainless TIG welded engine mounts, aluminum tranny mount and all stainless hardware...

damn, this forum doesnt get much traffic huh?

chris what are your rear wheel and tire specs? the CCWs specifically, but if you have a new setup, i'd be interested to know those specs too. ideally it'd be cool to run a 295 or 305 rear tire so i'm trying to see what offset i need to run with a 10.5 width wheel so that it's not poking past the stock rolled metal (s14).

here is 17x10.5 +27 25mm spacer front, 20mm spacer rear
Front tire is 245/45-17, rear tire is 315/35-17

i'm thinking something around a 10.5 +35 would fit inside the metal and allow for some meatier tires.

18" x 9" +19 (225/40/18) -.5* camber
18" x 10" +25 (255/35/18) -2.5* camber

Camber was not added until after these pictures were taken...they are probably very close to 0 in the pics below.

Warping is only present on those pictured...which were prototypes. I have used those on my personal car for that past year with zero problems. Once we acquired a one inch thick piece of steel to bolt them to while welding and act as a heat sink, we have had 0 issues with warping.
