New Staggered wheels on the EX (Pics)

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I just added a set of staggered wheels, 20x8.5 front (245-35-20) 20x10 rear (275-30-20) w\ 3.5" lip. I am not sure if I should lower the car or not, please tell me what you think, lower or not lower? Thanks

Wow... that looks different !

Are the overall diameters between front and back the same ?

I have an AWD Truck... and one of the things we make sure about, is that the overall wheel diameters are the same all around... as to not put strain on the driveline.

As for looks... I think it looks OK... the Black Outline that we have surrounding the Wheel Wells makes it look a lot closer than it really is.

Looks like there's no shortage of nice vehicles on your Driveway.

What's the SUV in the Garage ?

Thanks for the respose. The diameters are the same for the front and rear. The SUV is an 08 Armada LE. Im a big fan of Nissan and Infiniti.

I'm still waiting for the first guy to de-badge their EX35

I wonder how it would look if there was no "EX35" and "INFINITI LOGO" on the Back-end.

It already says "INFINITI" on the Hatch-pull.

Care to be the first one to do it ?

Welcome to the group, COZMO1!

Personally, I think it would complete the look to have it lowered.

Do you notice a significant difference in handling?

Cheers,David

How much could you lower it, before you experience Wheel to Fender rubbing ?

With the 10 inch Rims in the back, is there a lot of room left for suspension travel before the 2 make contact ?

Maybe COZMO1 could post a close-up of the Gap (using a Business/Credit Card for scale) between the Rear Tire and Fender ?

Looks nice. Funny, if you elect not to take a Luxe Elite or Luxe Style package, you can use the money saved to buy a nice set aftermarket wheels for the vehicle. I doubt most people living in city and urban areas will miss adaptive headlights.

What is the offset on these wheels? Front and rear please.

I like this alot. Congrats and nice colour combo indeed!!

I will definitely lower it (if there's one available). I've been googling for lowering springs for the EX but no luck so far. I believe Tein is the only company that is currently looking into making one for the EX.

And for the staggered setup do you find that the rear is sticking out a bit too far? I like the staggered setup as well but concern that the rear will stick out too much.

Another welcome to NICOclub! Glad to have you here!

Here is my opinion:

- Color combo is sweet!

- I love the rims, I have always been a huge fan of the black w/chrome

- If it were me, I WOULD NOT lower it, leave it as is

- I also would not debadge, you have to ride proud with the brand!

- I would suggest painting the lower portions that are now black, that was one of the reasons I bought an '09 Murano instead of the EX, that, space, and no stock tinted windows on the EX

I also have an '08 Armada LE, so I know you have awesome taste in vehicles. Congrats on both of the new rides, and enjoy them!

Welcome to NICO, hilmy! (Any sign of snow yet in Calgary? Though we had one big storm in Ottawa last week, we're back to 19-deg C today!)
