New Squeak New Problem!?

Recently while driving my S14 97 I have a squeak noise hitting between 4000 rpm and above. Though it's spontaneous it has been occuring a little more frequent ..from once a week to maybe 3 times a week. Though the minute I switch gears and it goes below 4000 rpm it stops this high pitch squeak. Until I get to 5th gear and then it doesn't occur at all. From 1st gear to 4th though I will occur that squeak. Any ideas on what the problem may be and is it costly? Thanks for help in advance.

Actually it is a high pitch sound and it seems to be coming from the clutch area...I know sounds weird but is rather loud. Even with the windows rolled up I can hear it, any clue?

from the clutch area? well atleast it's not detonation. sounds like the same problem that my rx7 had, had a transmission guy drive it and check it out he said it was the pilot bearing, hope that helps.
