New speakers.

My Q45 has had blown out rear speakers for a while, and that really limits the bass. So I decided to use a old speaker box to put two new 12 inch speakers in. I didnt want to buy a new amp so I figured out a way to re-wire them to the factory amp. After a few trys I got it hooked up, and used cables to tye it down real good. Well the factory amps does a decent job of pushing the low watt 12lves, and it has more bass then the factory 6x9 ever could produce. It's nice to have a good system again for the summer, not to mention theirs no rattles just boom. Also did a, oil/filter change, and used injector cleaner, the Q idles more smooth and feels more snappy.

Having a nice box custom built to fit right isnt an issue, not that big into audio.

how could the ever be enough power to push a 12" sub

The twelves are too large for the OEM amp. I have reduced it to one twelve intell I replace the old amp then I will hook both twelves up again.
