new spark plugs, high idle

my car seemed to be misfiring and hesitating. i checked the tps with my DMM and got 4.09v at WOT, then i put in some ngk spark plugs and took it for a test drive, everything seems to be ok, but now my car idles at 1400rpm...my idle air control valve is screwed all the way down, and i did a decarb and cleaned my throttle body plate...what else can i check to adjust my idle...thanks

were you running your engine with the old spark plugs for awhile before you had the problem? if you just got the engine or something with the problme maybe you should regap the old plugs..if that doesnt work try a different heat range spark plug..what heat range did you get this time?
