Okay I thought I had narrowed the problem down to my ignitor. I switched out my coils with a set i know works fine and it still seemed to run on 3 or so cylinders. Brand new spark plugs from nissan. Just got an ignitor in the mail and it runs on 3 cylinders just like the old one. I smell gas and when I replaced the old plugs some of them were wet... So I dont think its a fuel problem.

I'm very frustrated right now and I kind of want to die...

Do you think its an ECU related problem? If so how would I go about diagnosing this issue?

Thanks -Max

can be either a faulty ecu, or a bad ignition harness...

check your harness with a voltmeter first...

Does it do it all the time, or just when it is hot? If its only when hot, take off your coil cover, that should clear it up. If not, test your ignition harness like ^^ suggested, should have power, ground, and pulse. Might also want to try changing out your cas, or taking it off and spinning it by hand, making sure all the contact points for the injectors fire. If not, it could be bad.

I've actually never heard my car run smoothly. So its not only when its hot.

Hmm, good idea's guys.. I'll go down and test my harness with a volt meter thingy as soon as I can... as for the CAS I've never dealt with those before so I'm a little sketchy, I'll give it a shot though.

Always troubleshoot before you buy any parts.. Remove all your coils and spark plugs and lay then on the valve cover. Remove the fuel injector harness. Remove the CAS, now with the key in the on position- Turn the CAS. You should see each ignitor fire one by one.
