I dropped my digi cam off at best buy today for a 3 week service. I'll try to get some pics up for you guys.

These pics were taken witha disposable camera and scanned. Quality isn't bad, considering...

BEFORE:AFTER:I got a deal of a lifetime at http://www.tirerack.com, right now they are selling their bridgestone s03 pole positions (98y) 245/40/19 for about $175 each. They are on clearance and I don't know how many they have left, but ANYONE that needs tires right now in either 245/255 (both sizes on clearance), BUY them immediately.

It feels like a new car. The new tires, of course with full tread, plus coming from a 235/35/19 to a 245/40/19 is an absolutely incredible difference. What I thought was a terrible brake noise was resolved. My gaps are filled. I no longer feel like my car is on stilts. However my 19's look smaller now...now I want 20's!

My recent alignment only NOW shows its value. My car feels SO MUCH BETTER I can't believe it.

FYI, I think my wheels are a 38 offset (might be wrong), and the 245/40/19 fits with no rubbing at all. HOWEVER the clearance between the strut and inside of the tires in the front is literally, splitting hairs. It must be 1 1/12 of an inch.

But it was the most bang for the buck I've ever felt for $800 with a car. I attribute a good deal of this not only to the more suiting size of the new tire, but the horrible condition and ill sizing of the old.

Thanks for all your help guys, really. I wouldn't have purchased new tires if y'all hadn't yelled at me about the load rating. My daughter is safe in my car now, and that means alot to me. Thanks much. I love this place!

I'll have pics up as soon as possible, gotta borrow a cam for the day.

What a difference! Improved the looks, handling and ride-that's the kind of mod that we can all be proud of.

Looks much better, and I'm sure it works even better than it looks. 19's are not small wheels, the perfect size for the Y33, although some 20" Brabus would be sweet, but the reality is that it just needs to be a little bit lower and it will look just right. However, even if you don't drop it at all, it still looks very nice.

Ahhhh, I think 18's are plenty. 19's are sharp though.

I have those tires on my 300ZX, they are great. I'm thinking I should invest in those tires in the same size right now, I heard they were going away, but I'm not going to change over my rims until November.

Were there any clearance issues? Any rubbing?

closest thing in the WORLD, no rubbing though! Couldn't fit a credit card between the tire and strut mount!

I was thinking it was going to be close, I need to buy spacers as I have the M45 rims that have a different offset....I think I have to throw down on those right now, thanks for the good call.
