Looks like the small version of the essence. Not bad altho the grill looks out of place. Hope it will look better with darker color.

I like that concept. What is it? The article seemed not to notice that there was a picture attached.

Oh the S platform. I hope they don't bastardize it. Its about time for a new one considering Nissan/Infiniti did away with the 240 over 10 years ago.

I was excited about this until I relized it's basically a G20 replacement, FWD hurts me bad.

Going to be based on the Tiida (Versa) platform, so most everyone is assuming FWD.

I am so utterly disappointed now.

Agreed. THe grill doesn't fit the car.
But, FWD is a bigger failure.
Couldn't the G35 be considered the replacement for the 240??

Nope, the G35 is fun, and its comfortable. But it isn't a 240. The g35 coupe feels big, has bad viability issues and doesn't handle near as well as a 240 can. I know I'm gonna get people that argue with me on this, but thats my opinion.

240's are also a LOT easier to work on because of the smaller size and displacement.

yup, I would be one to disagree :chuckle: but that's OK.
I've owned both and both fit me great! Handled great! But, were both underpowered and need help to live up to their potential.
still regret selling the 240 :frown: 91sxse w/super hicus

There are plenty of slow/stock 240s, but add power to one and its a better feeling to drive than a G, the weight difference is big.

You can add power to the G too. LOL just saying.

Anyways if you don't like front wheel drive Infiniti here is another new concept from Infiniti with RWD or AWD smaller then the G. Call this 240 ha Supposely smaller than the G25 hope not the engine size.

True but money and weight are still big players for that.

Damn that thing is ugly.

As for 240's being slow. Yeah, stock they are. Add a Holset and some 740cc injectors (and about 5k of other goodies) and you get a killer 375hp that is reliable. I like the G for a daily, I like the 240 for the track.
