so i scored myself a pretty good deal on some new 19" g37s rims with brigestone potenza tires. now with all these thieves around i am very worried about getting them stolen i currently have oem infinity wheel locks and would like to buy another set of aftermarket wheel locks just to be safe. can anyone recommend me a good company/set of wheel locks that will fit the g37 rims. i know that my original nissan lug nuts didn't fit the rim because they needed to be 1.25in in size, hence i had to buy 16 infinity lug nuts from the dealer at $7 per lug.

thanks guys yeah i think im pretty much done with the car took me a whole year bought the car march 1 of 08 and now about 8k later just on mods i dont think their is anything else i can do with the car except audio i have every single mod except springs and i dont think it would be wise for me to drop the car with the stillen fascia and ED rear. u guys think the rims were a good deal i ended up paying $1150 rims and tires. the tires have about 80-90 % life on them and the rims are brand new not a scuff mark or scratch on them.

Are they staggered?

i think you would be fine with the eibach drop.

Those wheels are sick, and look great on your coupe.

yeah they are staggered, but i dont know about this whole drop business i live in new york drive to Manhattan and Staten island all the time the roads are horrible its not going to make much of a difference anyway if i drop it, i have a hard time as is with the roads and the ed rear and fascia make the car lower so i dont think i need a drop. BTW i noticed a big difference now i feel every single bump on the road going from 17 to 19"

please help if anyone knows any good wheel locks chime in

Mike, if you're gonna get locks get McGuard locks. They are the best IMO! Nice wheels too!

BTW, did the OEM Nissan center caps fit right in?

Those are the ones my bf's got on his Jeep. He also thinks that gorilla locks are good. I've got the boring Nissan ones since I doubt 2.5 stockers are in high demand and if they went missing it would be a reason for aftermarket

I love those rims. Everytime I see a g37, I want to steal their rims. They look especially great on your car. I was thinking at one point to get a set and powder coat them black but decided against it.

wait do u mean painting the rims?

idk if a 2-tone would look good on those i dont see anywhere you can naturally seperate the 2 colors ... however, if you were to just darken them to gunmetal or something

Dude you paid $100 for lugs already!??! Why didnt you wait and get GOOD lugs instead of infiniti ones?

Id get Watanabe lugs if you can find em... or theres some more expensive color matched options...

http://www.evasivemotorsports....de=L1

-100 on buying $100 factory lugnuts bc you were in a rush!

Those wheels are a HIGH THEFT item in your area Surman.. you know this already... Factory locks? Might as well park it on cinderblocks for those chumps!

not true brian, there are plenty of G37s I see around with no locks on at all, and there are A LOT of G's here. Having both the OEM and aftermarkets will secure them pretty good but having just the OEM's for now is nothing bad, they might not want the extra 5 minutes of time it would take to get them off... plus noise.

oh adn i know why he got infiniti lugs, surman called me while they were putting the wheels on his car and he needed them ASAP, couldnt wait to order online.

Dude.. dont tell me about them not being the hottest wheel to steal in the NY area... look at G35nyc... and the countless pictures of their cars jacked up on blocks with the wheels missing.. Surmans car is a HIGH-RISK with the amount of mods on it...

Surman didnt need to bolt em on day one, he was antsy and thats why he bought the factory lugs and put em on asap...

Its not something you think about until it happens to you, and BK is a HOTBED of wheel jacking....

Mike,..if that's the case, go to the nearest harbor freight store, and buy yourself a mig welder and spot weld those Baby's on the axle! j/k

Actually, what you should really do is send them to me and put your stock wheels back on..what da ya say Mike

Surman cant lower his car or it will be eternally dirty.

The car is .3 inches above the tracks for a car wash... he doesnt have a hose at his house.

Dropping it means no clean car, ever!

Im not sure what you mean, but touchless washes usually are crappy from what I have heard... in Surman's area I dont know of any anyways... and the "Wash your own car" places are far from him...

Theres a carwash near my new house, where the whole floor is a conveyor belt... you could put a car on cinderblocks thru the wash on it!

For surman though, I think the drop is just asking to scrape!

Anyways, back to the OP... heres the Wantabe locks I mentioned before... http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-lo...30032#

SUPER expensive though!
