My 07 Sedan currently has 34k miles on it. I am hard on the car and race once in a while. I am thinking I will replace the shocks between 40 and 50 k miles.

What would you buy if you were me???

#1Koni yellow sport adjustable shocks $1000

#2 EIBACH PRO STREET-S COILOVER SYSTEM $1400

#3H&R Street performance shocks $1440

Wow! well, I was considering replacing my shocks until I looked at those prices. I currently have 74 thousand miles on mine and I drive my car pretty hard so I know i need news ones. I was hoping the price for some stiffer shocks would be a lot less.

But to reply to your post I hear a lot of good things about Eibach. They would be my first choice if i were to base it off of reputation or the bilstein.

Wow...tough call Jeff because I know you take your Infinit to it's limits. If you are going to continue to track your car.. I say go with #4 if not then #2 is a wise choice. Great brand and reliable, I guess that's why it's so popular.

Jeff,I don't know the diff, but my neighbor was a bmw/porsche mechanic up north and used to race his bmw up there too.

He is a HUGE Bilstein fan.

I always used Tein adjustable for R32 and S15, and they were easy to adjust. I am more on the drift side, but worked pretty well.

Another option I liked was Koni yellow and Eibach Pro spring. When you combined two different brand, balance could be weird, but those two seem to be a good match. H&R was too stiff to my taste, and did not have enough stroke.

I've used Bilstein, and it is a damn good shocks, but for the price, I feel like it is overrated. I much prefer Tein. Japanese car, Japanese shocks.

So if you want the quality and height adjustable quality, I'd go with Tein. If you want to save some money, then I'd go with Koni yellow with eibach. You'd still be comfortable during commute, and still be able to drift through corners.

Just my opinion.

I say #4    Adjustable shocks for ride quality, and adjustable springs for ride height.  The best of both worlds!

I got some more advise to wait until next year and prices are supposed to drop a few hundred dollars so I'm not sure what to do. Maybe I'll just wait for Christmas?

I will most likely do the #4 Bilsteins but wait for a smoking sale!
