Anything that changes body height will change camber.Only tension rods, upperlinks, 3rd links, rack bushings and any rear suspension arms will change alignment.New shocks with new mounts might decrease camber a tiny bit.

Front and rear Toe [thrust angle] usually change the most frequently why every 6 month alignments are recommended.

Did you get the 225/60/15V Exalto on sale at Tirerack?

thanx dennis.

qship96; no i ordered the o.e.size 215/65 H 15 exaltos. i do not really need a V rated tire. 55miles in either direction and the limit is still 55mph. my car sees maybe 90mph 1 or 2 times a year. well there is this one bridge 7 miles long and in non tourist season, well things do happen. anyway after reading your post about tire wear i checked tirerack online but no sale price listed. do you think the 225/60 is a better option? my tires are on back order for 4 weeks., they said i could change or cancel or whatever. soooo, if there are convincing arguments for the 225/60s i am interested.

Hi Captain,

The only downside (and it IS marginal) is the slightly smaller diameter of the 225/60x15 - maybe 1/4", maybe less - 806 vs 812 RPM. The pluses are:

V speed rating which will give slightly sharper steering - maybe not that noticeable to some, unless they've driven the same model in H rating recently for comparison

slightly shorter sidewall (helps the sharper steering) looks better

a tad wider footprint

Why wait for the backorder?

Glenn
