The new nano looks pretty sweet. I've never been into these tiny player but carrying around an iPod classic gets annoying. Luckily one of mine sits in my glove box. You better watch yourself A33, you'll be tagged as a zealot if you show any interest in apple products.

Hell, my generic Pantech phone gets better sound then my buddy's iPod.

Were you listening to the same exact file, using the same headphones? It all depends on how the music was recorded, compressed, and audible output. Anyone can say this thing sucks if they're listing to s*** quality tracks.

I'll admit to being an Iphone 4 user. I'm not the biggest fan of the device or the manufacturer , but I was due for an upgrade. The main selling point for me wasn't anything but convenience. All of my audio systems, home theater, garage system, and both of my cars stereo's have ipod docks. I like the fact that I can plug it in and control it with the head unit/receiver.

If sony,samsung,sanyo or any of the other companies had that option I would consider them. Until then, it's apple for me.

How about you not assume anything and ask why? Did I say I hate Apple? NO. I simply said I will never buy another Apple product. WHY? Because I just don't see my need in them. I had another part of that statement saying " and possibly another smart phone," but I took that out because I know I'll eat those words at a later stand point.

Dude, Empty V, what's going on there? I'm generally in the middle on Apple products. If talking to a rabid fan, I'll play the role of a hater. If talking to a hater, I'll play the fan. I probably have 3 ipods, an iphone and an ipad. But I certainly wouldn't consider myself a fanboi. In fact, I can't wait to ditch my phone for an android device. Either way, there are two groups that piss me off about apple products, the rabid fanbois and the haters (probably why I mess with both groups). I read KVs post and didn't take either position from it. It's his preference. Now, if he had tried to explain in depth why apple products suck and you're a moron, that would be grounds for getting annoyed. Personally, I don't like Sony products, but I'm not going to try to convince you not to buy one. See the difference? If he doesn't want to buy one again, more power to him. I wont be any less/more content knowing this when I end up purchasing a nano.

This is my stance exactly on Apple products. They're just gadgets that are overpriced and dont serve a "need" and since I dont "want" to spend much more money than I'd normally spend on something that does it's same function, I'll never purchase an Apple product.

well now i'm an XM h0m0 too, I decided to not waste my time upgrading to a new iPod when I don't use either of the two I have already hardly at all. I picked up a XM Onyx today for $52 at walmart.



I don't give a crap what people buy though, I buy what works the way I want it to. Everybody has different needs and different preferences, so if they want Apple, Android, whatever, then so be it.

No that does not mean I hate apple, To me, if you can do the exact same thing for less then why pay more?
to this day i'm still enjoying my mp3 player PURELY because of it's simplicity.
no i don't need to install this program to put music and files onto my mp3 player, yes it plays video, yeah you can view pictures, yeah you can add as much storage as you want because it has the sandisk output on it.
making a playlist? highlight the songs create playlist and you're done.
want to organize music? open the folder in the computer and organize it to your preferences and you're done.
it's very simple and user friendly and guess how much i paid for it?
$75 dollars.
and it's been through hell and back and it's still kicking. with decent - great music quality at times.
