I must say in person it doesn't look bad. I'm not such a fan of the shifter being up on the dash...

I will agree with the shifter part. Makes it look like a stupid HONDA.

What what??? OH MY AWESOME REVIEW FROM EDMUNDS?

15.1 @ 92.6?? My friends we have a stock 14.6 second car with a good driver. .86g on the skidpad.. It should be relatively impressive. I haven't had a chance to look at the underside of the new Sentra yet, I hear the rear suspension is on a torsion bar setup, does that mean it does NOT have springs? How would the car be lowered then?

sounds like your auto show sucked... I mean when a main car company like Nissan or Honda doesn't come, you're in trouble.

Torsion bar is the same on B14s and B15's. Instead of having IRS (independent rear suspension) it's connected by the torsion that has a attachment in the middle to allow for suspension movement. To lower is just like any other car.

Similar to this setup:

In simple form: It's a beam connecting the two wheels. At each end you have the hub and all and a shock with a spring wrapped around it. It's simple yet effective, IMO, on FWD cars.

oh werd, I was thinking more along the lines of torsion bars like F1 cars where the bar itself acts as a spring.

They have hit the lots, my dealership got one on Saturday it seems. I didn't have a camera to take pictures or I would have because I'm a picture whore. Anywho, personally I think they look a lot better in person and this car has grown on me fast; enough that I'll consider it as a potential purchase for my next car.

I still have a hard time sticking with Nissan for performance cars lately when their competition, Mazda, Dodge, and Subaru specifically, have much higher horsepower ratings for reasonably similar prices.

My dad promised me the first Spec-v to test drive....I'll give you guys my opinions on it if you'd wish. Shouldn't be too long from now, either.
