New sentra owner well kind of

The other day after stopping by the tuner shop. My gf and I ended up going by the Nissan dealership. The trap was sprung and we ended up driving home a 2006 Sentra 1.8s. I searched around here and found a lot of people asking about modding them etc. I was just wondering if anyone else here has a list of pro's and con's that are reasonable. I searched other places on the net and have seen complaints about the comfortability of the seats etc. But I am more concerned on how reliable the newer sentra's are. I got a 5 year warranty on it so I won't be modding it anytime soon. That and it's her daily driver and she would get pretty peaved. She has allready grown to hate the 240 but she loved my altima se-r so I assume she will grow to love the sentra. I had to co-sign so I got my name on the title to so that's how I get the well kind of. I'm sure I'll end up with it adventually and she will get the new car again when it comes time to buy another car. Anyhow I felt like we got a decent deal since it's under bumper to bumper warranty for five years and the car had less then 30k on it. Anyhow any input would be nice. Thanks.

1.8s are mostly problem-free and make great DD's. Some 1.8's had relatively premature headgasket failure, but it's not terribly common.

Make sure there are no recalls by having the dealer run the VIN, but I'm pretty certain the 06's had none.

Thanks I doubt it had any recalls or the dealership would have wanted to fix them right away. In the past they always wanted to do warranty work for recalls on my car right away. I have purchased multiple vehicles from them so I trust them about as much as you can trust any used car salesman. Anyhow again thanks for the response.
