new sentra owner

just picked up a 91 sentra ser with a sr20de. The kid told me it was a swap but im not really sure. this is my first nissa.

its a b13 2dr red coupe 5 speed and rides pretty nice.

picked it up for 700 bucks today. transmission shifts nice and the car rides pretty good.

only thing i dont like is that the car is slammed in the rear and would like to raise it up but im looking for a supspenion kit and i cant find any.

any good site for nissa parts.

trying to search on the site but can find anything.

looking for a basic help on where to get parts and what parts fit and how to tell if its a real se-r

any help would be great sorry for the newbie questions and ill take pics of it tomorrow. sorry if i posted it in the wront fourms

Slammed only in the rear? Weird. Post a picture if you would along with what height you're looking for and we'll try to help you figure something out. There are a few aftermarket options, but it depends on how much higher/any performance aspects you're looking for.

As for telling if it's a real SE-R, I'm no help, but we have several B13 SE-R owners around who may be able to tell you. Actually, one obvious way would be to look at the sticker in the door sill. It should say the displacement of the engine (I think) and if it says 1600cc then it was a swap.

All 91-94 Sentras can use the same parts except for on the engine.

look in the drivers side door for the id sticker the engine code will say sr20de

well the reason the back is slammed because the guy put in some cut springs and in the front he put the stock springs on to go do a inspection.

The ride hight im looking to get is like RED_DET car. nothing crazy but and nothing like a monter truck. Ill be going with 16in rims the biggest.

i dont want to spend to much money on the car but also want it to look good and clean. kinda factory with a sporty look.

i will go and take some pics of the car later on today cuz i have some questions about the BOv look alikes on top of the intake and on top of the exhaust and seeing if it is possible to remove it.

cant seem to find a b13 wire diagram or scamatics for this car its all b14 and higher. i need to resolider some wire back to its place but want to know what wire im putting back so i dont damage anything .

I believe RED has the KYB AGX/Eibach Sportline combo.

A good budget combo is the KYB AGX/ road magnet spring combo. they provide a nice stance. more info on these springs can be found on sr20-forum.com.
