New Scion Xd Looks like the Versa

Does anyone else think the New Scion Xd looks like the Versa? Check it out on caranddriver.com or motortrend. The Scion Xd debuted at the Chicago Auto Show today.

It looks more like a better looking xA than a V. I guess the Scion people stopped creating radical designs and started morphing the current ones.

Which is exactly what it will be, too... based on the Yaris, but using the Corolla's 1.8L engine.

The good news for this car is that it will run both forever and on little fuel.

It better be larger than the xA because I couldn't even drive a manual xA without hitting my knees... even with the seat all the way back.

That, and it seriously needs to be de-blahed. Like every Toyota.

The xA was one of the ugliest cars in decades. The xD looks like it will continue that legacy.

The wheels on xD pictures I've seen are horrible. Hopefully they're just plastic wheel covers so people can throw them away.

Yeah, it's pretty gross. I really only like the tC and the fuse, even though it's only a concept.

It's still not as bad as the xA. Which was as ugly as the Pontiac ***-tek.

Now we see the rise of the hatchback in the US again, and Ford will be DROPPING the Focus hatchback next year.

But the Ion replacement (the Astra) will come as 5-door and a 3-door. Go figure.

my cousin has an Xa, he is big, High School football player, probably 6'1'' over 200, lifts weights, and he looks like he makes the car too small! lol He sat in my car and I told him dang dude u need to get one of these, because he fit PERFECTLY in the V.

I think it looks more like a cross between the Chevy Aveo and the Fit.

They did make the xA/xD look and that xB replacement Glad I got my xB before the change

Eh, either generation of xB is ugly. Most car manufacturers stopped designing boxes by the end of the 80's.

Now it just looks like it crossed itself with a Honda Element.

The original xB never officially came to Canada, but I preferred the no-excuses, this is a box, so it should look like a box styling of it. The new one has no charm to it. I know that a lot of people agree with EV about the xB, but I liked it. I definitely don't like the look of the new one.

The rear seat slides and reclines in 5 steps to 10 degrees, according to the write-up. And ABS with EBD is standard (Nissan, pay attention). Stability control is optional.
