New s13 vert owner :)

Hi, I'm new to this site, I have just purchased my first s13 convertible :)
I have a bit of work to do on the car to get it how I want it.

Background info on my vert is that it was imported from japan in 03 to Australia
I found an old article on my car on autosyle website lol

Bought her for 1k with a blown CA engine. Starting to re build her this weekend and plans are to put in a sr20det manual and new s13 front end as it has s15 front at the moment. Even found a cool box in the glove compartment ;)

Would love to make some new friends here

Sorry bout not uploading pics earlier was on my iphone..

This pic is more recent, as you can kinda see it had a little crash in the front but i am swapping to s13 front, and its getting a new paint job soon (black)

So lots to get working on this weekend, im painting the engine bay, ripping out most of the interior (i hate yellow)
putting in a half cage, then getting started on the front end, manual conversion and putting my new engine in

It was nice looking, the last owner ruined the poor car, never cleaned it EVER.. It will be mint when im done with it.
Tried cleaning the back plastic roof window and it failed, so buying a new roof i think (plus i found a few small holes in it anyway

Welcome to NICO Jacqueline! Somehow, all your pictures are showing right-side up. Not too sure about that.

Oh that's odd haha I just got the URL from photobucket? Is there any other way to add pics?

I was thinking of doing a build thread but never done one before so it might suck

We'll help you if you need anything. Just take lots of pictures and document everything. You'd be surprised how much that will help you with the build. You'll wonder, "How was that hose routed?" or "Does the blue wire connect on the left or the right?"

I KNOW THAT CAR! :D I saw the autostyle article a while back (Gee, how many years ago was that?) Nice to see it's found it's way to an owner who has come to Nicoclub and has an awesome sense of aesthetics. S13 front? Black? I think that car is going to love you long time :laugh:
Can't wait to see how you modify it and make it your own :cool: Going to keep the SR stock or fix that up too?
I'm trying to figure out how to get my girlfriend to let me modify her Skyline now...I think slow and steady will win that race huh? :chuckle:
