Okay, so I've been doing some research for a while, gathered a parts list and estimated costs of different brands. I decided to go with SPL even though they are more expensive and probably more than I need to DD with but I also plan on eventually tracking the car so I don't see any sense in getting cheap suspension to begin with.

I am going with Stance GR+ Pro coilovers. SPL Toe Arms, Traction Rods, and RUCAs in the rear. SPL Tension rods, tie rod ends, and tie rods in the front.

I had also planned on replacing my subframe bushings with SPLs aluminum bushings as well as getting some new differential bushings. My question about that is: Is dropping the S13 Subframe similar to dropping the S14 subframe, or are there any extra steps/precautions I should take into account?

From the looks of things, it seems like it shouldn't be any different. Do I have to drop/separate the differential from the axles?

Also, I am not going to be able to do an alignment myself obviously, but I was wondering if when I put all of these new arms/parts on, would it be okay to drive 40-50 miles to a shop, or should I just have the car towed there? Aside from an alignment, I am not sure what all (as far as adjustments) will have to be done to ensure a safe trip to an alignment shop. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Few additional questions, but they are cosmetic issues and not that important:I had also planned on painting/touching up the subframe and differential cover. Is there any specific type of paint you guys would recommend or would the rustoleum in a can work just fine?

Thanks.

it should be the same as dropping the s14 sub frame. That sounds like a good setup, i have Stance Gr+ pro coilovers, battle version arms, a nismo power brace and tein tie rods, so our setup's will be close, and it is a bit rough for a dd but i can deal with it.

i wouldnt drive it that far unless you bring a different set of wheels+tires with you, thats a lil too far to drive, espically with a way out of wack suspension, you dont know how the car will even drive, will it pull, will it dart, personally i would trailer it, but anywho good luck with the build, i hope you had as much fun as i did with mine

i think you can drop it all as one unit; (subframe and diff) but with the weight of a differential you might want to just drop it first and then the subframe second

do you plan to daily the car?

i wouldnt do aluminum subframe bushings, they are going to be very harsh on uneven pavement

good luck with the build and post pictures
