just done SR20DET swap... right now I have:EVO 5 front mount intercooler, APEXI air intake, S14 T28 turbo, 3" down pipe, 3" cat-back, HKS BOV, APEXI AVC-R....

I'm planin to get Z32 MAF, R34 GTR fuel pump, Tomei Poncam, Tomei rocker arm stopper,1.5mm headgasket, (Tomei ECU, 550cc injectors)

wut do u guys think of dis set up?? 1. I live in Canada... is there any good ECU but not too pricey??2. is injector really needs? I have a friend with HKS GT2835 tubo but he using stock injectors... and it runs fine! any common??

Get something thinner than 1.5 mm for the headgasket. Contrary to popular belief, higher compression rocks for turbo cars, and you wont be needing a forged bottom end with a T28 turbo anyway so why not try and maximize power gains.

Instead of a ECU why not get a piggyback fuel controller or something you can tune yourself.

Just get a walbro 255 l/hr pump, $89us on ebay brand-new. Good for at least 400hp (way more than you'll ever make on the S14 turbo)

for the injectors it kind of depends on how much power/ boost you have. i'm not sure but i think you can use up to like 10 or 12psi on stock injectors before you need to upgrade, but im not that sure on that

considering that he is new (i'm not knocking on you or anything) but do you know how to tune? I'd say going with a standalone Apex-i Power FC would be nice. Plug and play

i was planning on getting an evo fmic (they're cheap)

but i was talking to a guy who works for injen at an xs engineering dyno day/tech event about the merits of that particular ic, and i walked away with this:

1. it's kind of efficient when it's cold, but once it gets hot, it heatsoaks like a mo'fcuker.

2. it holds boost quite well.

3. if you're looking for max power, an infinitely more efficient aftermarket fmic will be best.

anyway, good luck on your setup :)
